FRED Asked: I think I may have skin cancer?! Will someone please help me?!?
Okay, so there's been some little white bumps on my skin since December. It started out as a small pure white raised bump on my skin, to the right side below the knee. I didn't think anything of it. Then in January to February time, the one spot grew from about 1 centimeter to what I'm guessing about an itch. It is long and skinny, and it's almost like a splotch, no shape. Then another grew and ran a course of the same thing, right under the first, only it's a bit smaller. Then at about the beginning of March, like four more very small ones came up all at once. I got a little concerned when I noticed it, and I was with my Grandma that day, so I showed her and she said she hadn't seen something like that before, and that I should show my Mother.
So next day I showed my Mom and she said she just wonders if it's not like a white mole or something. She told me the syptoms for something bad and told me it was probably nothing but to tell her if something happened.
So tonight I looked down and saw one was bleeding. I hadn't touched it or anything. It has a small red area around it.
So I told Mom and she said she'd make me a doctor's appointment tomorrow.
I am just scared right now and not sure what to do. I looked it up online and bleeding on its own a commom cancer syptom. I looked at pictures of pigment diseases rashes worts acne and it doesn't look like any of them.
Questions:
1.Does this sound like skin cancer to you?
2. What will the doctor most likely do? (I'm afraid she'll want to like cut one out or something.)
3. If I do have cancer, what will happen next?
4. What do you think it sounds like?
Sorry this is so long. Thnx in advance. BTW- God bless all who lost someone on 9/11.

It honestly doesn't sound like skin cancer, I wouldn't worry about that. She might take a biopsy, and then again she may not. Best of luck, and I hope you can figure out what's going on!

When I had my first skin cancer the dr. did a biospy to determine what type it was, or if it was in fact cancer. Then he took it off, and took a piece of skin from behind my right ear and used for a skin graff. I'm not saying that's what your dr. will do.. but I do believe that any good dr. will do a biopsey first. Then determine what he/she is dealing with. Most skin cancer's are very treatable, and respond well to simple surgery under a local antisepic. Then 17 years later in Sept. of 09, it came back. They did another biopsey. It was a melanoma. So the surgeon dug it out and re-formed the skin to hide the scar and put in over 80 stitches, which came out in like a week later. Well now its Sept. again and its back for a3rd time. This time after the last biopsey its been determined its a "basil ? cell carcenoma". So I'm headed to Boise Idaho next month for yet another surgery.
Don't wait. Don't think it'll just all go away on its own. Actually the sooner its detected, the quicker it can be fixed?.I have an excellent team of surgical people, and I'm not in the least bit worried about this smaller one. and hopefully the last one. Mine is on my nose. And my dr. says to "Stay out of the sun"?. Do you know how difficult it is to keep one's nose out of the sun????We have a big garden and lots of fruit trees, and I can stuff every year, so I have to b out in the sun some.
I'm a red-head, with very fair skin.! Sothe sun is just not my friend?.
Good luck, but don't wait, don't ?.. at least go get a biopsey, so your dr. and family knows what they are dealing with. It could by psorisis or another skin disorder.

It DOES NOT sound at all like skin cancer. It sounds allot more like an infection or sorts. Just wait and go to your doctor's appointment and they can treat it for you. Don't worry. Best Wishes

Start eating raw food. Look at the benefits of raw food in the links. It's just so healthy.
I'm a raw foodist for 3 weeks and I feel like a new human being.
There are raw vegans out there outliving everybody, and everyone thinks you need a hamburger or a loaf of meat to survive, lol.
There are raw food bodybuilders stronger than anyone.
There are people over 100 looking young like 60years old, eating raw food.
Most of them started because they wanted to treat a nasty disease like cancer.
